Just Believe Thank you Card
Well, I really love the new colors! I just got my new goodies from the new holiday catalog. I can't wait to play! This is another thank you card I made using the new colors, cased from the catalog, using the SU set, Just Believe. The new colors I used are, Raspberry Ripple, Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green, and Midnight Muse. Midnight Muse sounds like it should be a song!
Happy Stampin' until next time!

Thank you cards using new colors!
I made this card using an older SU set, and the new in-colors, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Gumball Green, and Summer Starfruit. Love these colors! This goes to show, that the card doesn't have to be super complicated to give to someone!
Happy Stampin'

Arctic Girls
Life seems to keep me so busy I haven't gotten to do many weekends of stamping and crafting as I have been able to do in the past. Maybe I'm getting older and I feel the stress of work and family differently now? I still love to be crafty, as always I will strive to be better about posting.
So, this is a project that I made as a birthday gift. The paper is all SU I used Early Espresso, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Very Vanilla. The stamps were from an artist in Anchorage, at a shop called Stamp Attic. There are four in the set, however we mostly have winter here it seems, so when only three of the four seasons fit in the frame, I figured it would be just fine. I used Black EP and then water colored the girls with watercolor wonder crayons and my watercolor pens. I really had a relaxing time making this. Now I have to make one for my house too!

Bright Hopes for Christmas
This card was a stamp-a-stack, I used different layouts, but the same focus middle. I used Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green for this one, and the big shot embossing envelope Final Press for texture. On the next one I used a Cherry Cobbler scallop dots ribbon too, that dressed it up a lot. To get the center piece this way, you have to use the Top Note Die, and turn it so that it lines up with the short side to cut the square.
On another note, my ds has pneumonia, and missed the last week of school, and finals. He is sick, but also sick and tired of being sick. I am grateful that we have Christmas break for him to rest and get better. I plan on posting more, but for today time to get organized. I am taking a lot of my stamps and converting them to the clear mount, because of space. What a time consuming ordeal! It will be nice when I get done though.
In the meantime, Happy Stampin'!

Even more first Birthday
,
The ribbon wreath was an experiment, that turned out really well. We started with a floral foam wreath form, and the ribbon was looped and pinned in. These banners were made using the big shot and cricut mostly, and lots of Stampin' Up paper : ) the one banner with the pictures was made using a picture of the baby each month including the 12 month picture that really shows how much she grew and changed over the first year. So much fun having a crafty sister.
More pretty pink birthday party!
